Mission

To ensure the City's financial integrity and promote timely, effective, accountable, and transparent government; to be a model of good governance and municipal finance management; provide ongoing support to the City Council and City departments; and to make the City a better place to live and work.

Services

The Department is responsible for payroll, accounts payable/receivable, utility billing, portfolio investments, maintaining the General Ledger, financial reporting, the annual budget, the annual audit, risk management and liability, and human resources.

Staff

The Finance Department consists of an Accounting Manager and Finance & Human Resources Specialist. The City also contracts with a Finance Consultant who provides additional support including building the City’s annual budget, the mid-year budget review and adjustment, financial forecasting, and preparation for the annual audit.
